Spineless!

People these days have been growing up with no spine. It's a huge epidemic that we need to address NOW! If you pay attention, you will see it for yourself. People hunched over all the time. Looking down too much. Always in pain and suffering. I see it a lot in my profession, people coming in to see me and their necks have no hardly any curvature. It is a real problem, but I think I know the solution on how to fix it! Stop buying into the propaganda that is the Main Stream Media!

Our period of spinelessness is a serious issue. We are told that we can no longer go out and enjoy our lives as we used to do because ever other human being out there would rather you recluse so they do not get sick. And we listen to them! We, as an American society, are not standing up for ourselves in any way. Very few actually have a spine to stand up and say "NO MORE" to our elects in power. The point of what they're doing is to get their voice heard. The problem is as I mentioned, few are standing up. A small voice to a big Corp doesn't go too far. A big voice to a big Corp, now that's a force to be reckoned with. Especially when we are the ones who gave them their official job titles to begin with. WE THE PEOPLE OF THE UNITED STATES do have the power to remove them. 

I don't like to say the "silent majority". It is too vague of a slogan or phrase for me. Any majority can be silent out there! In my mind, the Conservative movement out there isn't even a majority. It is a minority among the parties. The Democratic party being one large party and the Republican party being its counter party. Libertarian and Conservative are just a smaller faction among the already long established larger parties that dominate the elections. So to say that Liberals or Conservatives are amongst the "silent majority" doesn't make sense to me because these two factions formed because they only agree in a small sense with the party the formed from. Being a Conservative, I do not agree with many of the Republican in office because their views now days do not match mine at all. Many Libertarians I know do not even vote for a Democratic or even Libertarian because the people up for election do not even have the same views as my Libertarian friends at all. What I like to call our little "factions" in secret is the "silent faction". 

Our "silent factions" have been just that for a while now. Silent. Remember when the slogan for a while was "silence is violence"? Well, our Conservative silence is killing our Conservative movements momentum! There are few out there who are standing up and letting the rest of America know we are pissed! We are! Very recently has there been a growing number in Conservative men and women actually getting up and standing for our rights. In the schools, teachers are teaching kids about CRT. Just recently, I saw a school board allowed child pornography in its classrooms and the mayor himself threatened everyone with the consequences of their actions. Our voices are the only things right now that will stop the tyranny in its tracks. If we can't hold the line right here and even gain some ground from our push-backs, it'll be an uphill fight Civil War style. I have seen lately that state secession is becoming a popular opinion. That is a blog for another time. 

If we hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are empowered by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness... I love that. America. Land of Freedom and Opportunity. That's what our Founders believed. My ancestor, who's signature was part of giving us our Independence, believed that. That is why I feel it good, right, and necessary to stand and fight for my Rights and Freedoms and pursuit of Happiness. Because it is my Right. Everyone in America has a Right to do as they wish. Just like backing your butt up into your corner of the world and yelling at me that I'm not doing what our Government has paved in front of us as rules and guidelines during the pandemic to keep others safe is your Right. I'm also Right to go about my daily Life and pursue Happiness. I will not be spineless. Thank you! 

For Too Long!

Humans are no strangers to sickness. We've been getting sick for as long as our very existence. A curse from God you might say for our original sin in the garden. How did humanity thrive when illness struck? Sanitation was not a thing until just over 100 years ago. People lived in large communities and cities where its a perfect breeding ground for bacteria and virus to thrive, all it takes is one person. One person turns into a family. A family turns into hundreds. How did the sickness suddenly stop? There were no modern day medicines like we see today like Tylenol or Penicillin. Believe it or not, there was such thing as herbal healing and herd immunity then. 

When the Black Death hit, many people did die. The first wave claimed many lives because there was no exposure to the bacteria prior. Those who survived the first wave would go on to survive the second wave when the plague hit. It did claim more lives, but not like the first wave. People were starting to resist it. Immune response kicked in. As more waves of the plague hit, less and less people were affected by it. Eventually leading to mass immunity or mass resistance or herd immunity to the plague. 

Martin Luther lived during the Black Death. He was doing Gods bidding by preaching the word as it was meant to be. He remained steadfast before the peril of death. He did not flee from the plague, rather, he helped his flock. "A good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep, but the hireling sees the wolf coming and flees" John 10:11. He put his life on the line and prayed with his sheep and distributed the sacraments and prayed over them that God may heal them or comfort them in death. Luther also suffered a great tragedy during the plague. His daughter died from the plague. A grief stricken Luther mourned and still comforted his people in dark times. Where am I going with this? Take away that Luther is trying to give in his recounts of the Black Death is to not fear death for yourself nor other around you. Believers ought to rejoice in sending a loved one to heaven for it is safer there than here on our sin filled earth. Mourn as it is in our human nature to feel sad for loss. But be happy also as they no longer feel the troubles and burdens on earth. 

If we lived with this same mindset today, we'd be so much happier. The devil has taken hold of our planet with a firm grip now days. Christianities head in the the hold of the guillotine. Governments plotting. Conspiracy theories running wild. With our own modern day plague, we all choose it is better to distance ourselves from friends and family. Even while we have a vaccine that was pushed so hard to distribute, humans still choose to not see each others faces. Humans still choose to shut themselves in their homes and watch as the day goes by, rather the years go by and complain there's no end in sight. There is! Live your life! This is that classic moment of "live like you were dying". I got news for you all, were all dying one of these days. I choose to live my life as happy as I can possibly be while you sit on your couch scrolling through Instagram and yell at the picture on your screen that depicts people out enjoying themselves how they seem fit. 

For too long have we been confined to Netflix and Grubhub. Live! Stop telling someone who lives 8 states away from you to stop going outside without a mask because it's bad for YOUR health. It is bad for YOUR health to stay inside 24/7. You do not dictate others lives. You dictate your own. I live my life the way I will until the day I die! Serious question. What is it to be alive?
